Opening Day for Baseball - Hairstyles under the Hat

Today is Opening Day 2010 for Major League baseball and like many of us, you are going to root for your favorite team! This is great and it looks like it will be a fantastic season with some real tight pennant races around the country. So I'm sure you've already picked out what you are going to wear to the game but I just wanted to throw out some hair variations when you are sporting around in your baseball hat.

There are really only a few things that you can do with your hair if you are wearing a standard baseball style cap. If you have short hair then you have it easy, just put that hat on and go find your seats.
Even with medium length hair you shouldn't find many problems with this hat.

Now if you've got shoulder length hair or longer then you are going to need to make some choices and I'll try to help you out here.

You could just let it go and wear it all the way down but don't forget you'll be early in the season it could be pretty windy out there. Also when chowing down on a Dodger-Dog or any other stadium grub you might get messy.

And if you do wear your hair down you still need to decide if you will put it through the adjusting hole in the back of the hat. Doing this will actually make a semi ponytail and could relieve some of the issues.

You did know that Alyssa Milano is a huge baseball fan, right?

Lauren Conrad is another celebrity fan. Check out her braids! This is one of the best ways to wear your hair with a baseball hat. Its cute and manageable.

Not baseball here but you can see the braid style again with the baseball hat.

Ponytail without braid is simple and effective but not always the most stylish.

I don't recommend doing the backwards hat thing at a baseball game. Many fans find this offensive but even worse it makes you look like a little kid and that will force you to keep your ID handy if you are having a beer.

Most teams will are selling their teams logos hats with pink colors to market towards female fans. If it works with your style and your clothing then go for it!

Any other ideas would be great! Feel free to drop them in the comment section below.
