Knit Hats to Look Cool or to Keep Warm

The knitted hat, properly named a Toque, has been popular for many years. They have many nicknames including beanie & stocking cap. Primarily worn in the winter months these stylish head covers have made their way from the ski slopes to the mini malls.

Traditionally these hats fit snug to the head but with a fashion sense they've often sported small pom balls on top and even a brim (aka - the bill)

Its seems that Knitting has made a comeback in recent years and there are lots of younger women that are using this great skill to create unique items, including hats, that they will wear in their daily life!
